9 Times Donald Trump Was A Racist, Sexist, Bigoted Piece Of Garbage
Huffpost

We all know by now, one of the people running for president is none other than the saggy, orange-faced, fake-haired, racist, sexist, bigoted, Donald J. Trump. Whatever your opinion is of him, it is hard to deny that he has said more than a few things that are 100% awful. Here are just a few.

1. In 2012 When He Launched an Investigation Against President Obama

Donald Trump said "Right now I have doubts that [President Obama] was born in this country. He claimed that Obama’s grandmother in Kenya said that he was born there and that she witnessed the birth. He believed just because Obama was African-American that he could not have been born in the United States. Which he was, which he later proved by releasing his birth certificate that proved he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.

2. That time he said Mexico sends rapists and criminals—As if they’re not here too...

"The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems," Trump said. "It's true. And these aren't the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime; they're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." Good going Trump. Way to prove why you should be president, I’m sure you’d do great in office. Well, great for a bigot and a businessman who has declared bankruptcy four times.

3. When he remarked that he would have sex with Ivanka if she were not his daughter

First of all, just ew. Why? That’s disgusting that you even think of your daughter like that. Even if you say, “if she weren’t my daughter…” That is still morally wrong. Why are there people supporting him?

4. Remember when he felt like assuring us he wasn’t a complete and utter piece of garbage?

Yeah, I’m talking about this quote: "I have a great relationship with the blacks. I've always had a great relationship with the blacks.” That’s not what it sounded like when he said this. “Look at my African-American over here. Look at him.” Trump called out an African-American man in the crowd at one of his campaign events and declared him his, as if he owned him. And how about when he refused to rent to blacks and instructed his doormen to deflect African-Americans. Or this quote: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys wearing yarmulkes. Those are the only kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else. Besides that, I tell you something else. I think that guy’s lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in Blacks.” Yeah I don’t think that qualifies as a good relationship.

5. When he threatened to deport every illegal immigrant and wrote it off as the "criminals"

“All criminal aliens must be returned to their home countries, a process which can be aided by canceling any visas to foreign countries which will not accept their own criminals, and making it a separate and additional crime to commit an offense while here illegally.” This quote is straight from his policy on immigration reform on his website. This is highly illogical and practically impossible.

6. When he thought every woman wanted an orange, wigged, actual piece of trash

"All the women on 'The Apprentice' flirt with me, whether consciously or unconsciously. That's good to be expected." In his 2004 book, 'How to Get Rich', Trump wrote that all the female contestants on the The Apprentice wanted to become his next love interest, not a CEO. We can all agree that Donald Trump is not attractive in the slightest. Nor is it true that every single woman to meet him wants to get in his pants.

7. The fact that he wants to defund Planned Parenthood and would shut the government down to do it

When asked by Hugh Hewitt, a conservative radio host if he would shut down the federal government to strip Planned Parenthood’s $528 million in government funding, Trump replied: “I would.” Well it’s good to know that Donald Trump has absolutely no respect for women and no regard to how our country actually functions.

8. When he made an awful joke about gays that actually made zero sense

"It's weird. You see these great players with these really long putters, because they can't sink three-footers anymore. And, I hate it. I am a traditionalist. I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist." Yeah that was awful, made no sense, and to top it off he wrote off every gay as "fabulous" just to make it all better.

9. When he literally mocked a disabled reporter

This needs no words. This is the worst thing he has ever done. What an ableist piece of trash.

Now I know some people will try to write this off as another liberal teen who doesn't know anything about politics but honestly, after all the things he has done, why is anyone considering voting for him? He's just another white politician promising things he can't do to get votes. And the scariest thing is, some people actually really like him. So, let's Make America Great Again*, and not vote for Donald Trump.

*Please note that again actually means for the first time, as America has never truly been "great."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
